R. Stan Atkinson, EA, ABA, ATA Stan is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (EA) is an Accredited Business Accountant (ABA), and Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA). He's insurance licensed to offer life, health, and long-term care insurance and fixed annuities. He has more than 35 years experience in accounting, tax planning, and is a financial advisor to individuals and small business owners. He has conducted workshops on a variety of financial and economic subjects and is a frequent guest columnist for the Lee's Summit Journal. Memberships: Missouri Society of Accountants, National Society of Accountants, Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce, Lee's Summit Economic Development Council, RVII School District Advisory Committee, and NSA's Institute of Business, Financial, and Real Estate Planning. Stan graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1964 with a B.S. in Business (major in accounting and minor in economics) and is active in continuing education.

Velda J. Atkinson Velda, a tax practitioner, has more than twenty years experience in the accounting and tax field. Her focus has mainly been on individual income tax and small business payroll accounting and reporting. She attended Longview College with a concentration in tax and accounting, and continues to pursue professional continuing education. Velda has worked closely with Stan, her husband. They especially enjoy family time together with two daughters, sons-in-law, and three grandchildren.
